Very nice.

Best guitar tone I've heard thus far on newgrounds, full and gutsy. This song is a great representation of metalcore/modern thrash (I really hate to label it though). The vox are strong, and have a nice sinister sound. What I particularly like about the vocals is that I can understand them without them losing any of the aggression needed to pull a song like this off. All in all, A very cool song with the guitar and vox taking the limelight.

Only thing I would suggest is turning the bass (the instrument) up a bit in the mix, I think it would push the verse over the edge into a real chest beater. Good work, I quite enjoyed this.

awesome... thanks a lot for the listen, review and positive feedback.

yeah Deathkalypse did an awesome job on this track... he's turning into a monster of metal on the AP

glad you like the vocal style... i do take pride in trying to make my vox "clear yet psycho" and i agree, it's cool to be able to understand them sometimes.

cheers again!

One problem that keeps this from being a master

I have one problem with this piece, and one problem only. It clips. 58 secs in to the work is a great example. I would turn down the drums, get some more guitar volume in the mix. Other than that, the keys are excellent, the riffs nice and heavy. Tight guitar tone with the right amount of "sludge", good transitions, and it never gets boring. Good work, just work on the levels a bit and you have a winner. Keep it up man, and keep it coming!

Nice take on modern thrash.

My first impression was that this track was a straight up old school thrash throwdown, very Megadeth-esque. Once the riff kicks in at 12 seconds, the song starts to throw around some of the new age thrash tricks. Very moshable, and I like the harmonic thrown in at the end of the riff at 14 sec and 17 sec.

46 seconds in is where this gets great. They palm muting has that sludgy tone that is the calling card of good modern death/thrash. Very kickass worthy.

My only complaint is that the drums get a little monotonous, but that just comes with drum machine territory.

Keep it up man, can't wait to hear more from you.

All I can say is wow.

Very, very, very well written. A great piece that reminds me of my favorite composer, Yasunori Mitsuda. Very beautiful and distant, the panning was well done, the quality superb, I just can't think of anything else to say. Amazing work.

Good job man.

I liked the clean opening, it set up the song very well. The rest of the song followed suit, maintaining a sense of emotion that can be lost in ALOT of metal. The guitar work is nice and tight, and has a nice almost epic feel to it. The phrases last just long enough to be interesting without getting boring. The panning during the solo was really nice, not overdone like it can be. Good job man.

Btw, UG FTW.

I play guitar, and I love art and music.
